On June 7th 2009, we held an Open Doors evening. Victoria Umunna shared with us the work of Open Doors and how they are supporting Christians persecuted for their faith, around the world. We had an opportunity to write letters of encouragement and support for individual people, as well as to pray for the Countries who are oppressed. Cakes and refreshments were on sale to raise money for Open Doors and we were able to send them £442 from our sales.
