On Saturday 13th march from 10am – 12pm, City Women will be joined by special guest speaker: Jane Blease.
Abandonment, shame, fear, bitterness these are just some of the issues Jane Blease has faced and overcome. At the age of 17 a discovery changed her life forever and tore her family apart.
Come and hear Jane share her frank and deeply moving story of God’s restoring power at the Main Church Building.
This Sunday will see the return visit of Terry Law, founder and president of World Compassion.
Since 1969, Terry has travelled to many countries which are hostile to the Gospel, such as the former Soviet Union and Iraq, to share the message of Jesus Christ and to support local churches and Christian relief programs.
Terry is one of America’s foremost speakers on nations that are normally closed to the Gospel. He preaches frequently in North America and the United Kingdom to encourage the Church and let people know what is going on behind the scenes in closed nations. Most recently, he has focused his ministry on Muslim nations, including Afghanistan and Iraq. In June 2004, Terry had the privilege of meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi to discuss religious freedom in Iraq. And in August 2005, he met with the new Prime Minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, to urge him to include religious freedom in the new Iraqi constitution.
We are very excited to have him come back to minister with us, and to hear what God is doing through Terry Law and his ministry and would love to have you join us this Sunday 14th March, at our 9:30am & 11:30am services in Cineworld, and at 6:30pm in our main Church!

Today’s Prayer Point: Stewards, Info Team, Befrienders & Set-up Team: For God’s grace & strength as they serve on Sundays. That God’s love unity would be demonstrated through them each week in the smooth running of the Services.
Today’s Verse: Acts 4:29-30: “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
Today’s Prayer Point: Evangelism Team: That God would give the team wisdom as they reach out to people. For DIVINE APPOINTMENTS with people who will come to know Jesus.
Today’s Reading: Ezra 1:5-6: “Then the heads of the fathers’ houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, with all whose spirits God had moved, arose to go up and build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem. And all those who were around them encouraged them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.”
Today’s Prayer Point: Time To Build: For the finances to flood in so, as a Church, we will not need to borrow money from the bank! That “Time To Build” will have NO LACK for expected and unexpected costs!
Today’s Verse: Haggai 2:9: “The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.”
Today’s Prayer Point: Prime Time: For all our senior citizens: that their latter days will be greater than the former as they continue to chase after the things of God.
Today’s Verse: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”
Today’s Prayer Point: City Gates Training: For the staff to be encouraged; for the strongman of religion to be broken in the students’ so they will come to know the One True God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Instead we will be holding a half-night of prayer on Friday 26th February at the Church from 8pm – 12am! We look forward to seeing you then!

Today’s Prayer Point: Intercessors Group: For their continued protection, as dynamic intercessors taking the Kingdom by force and pulling down the strongholds of satan in spiritual warfare.
Today’s Verse: 1 Corinthians 12:12: “For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.”
Today’s Prayer Point: The Church: For us as a body to form stronger bonds of unity, especially as we prepare for this year’s changes! For God’s direction & protection.
