REC Ministry

Recording Ministry Leader: Laura Salvage

Our Vision:

The recording ministry was set up to record all sermons onto CD/Tape and then
duplicate them for sale. We have built up a back catalogue of sermons from
2004 that include Sunday sermons, Guest Speakers, Weekend Away, Manuscript
and City Women events. Our engineers work independently to record sermons
but collectively our goal is to provide people with encouragement through our
CDs/Tapes.

The Congregation can be very empowered by the word on Sunday, but forget
the message by Monday. It also can be hard applying the word to everyday life,
especially for new Christians. So the CDs/Tapes will act as re-enforcers of the
word during the week.

I have heard on numerous occasions of people buying CDs/Tapes for friends and
family that don’t come to church. Some have even sent CDs abroad, and some
have even handed them to waitresses at restaurants. This is very encouraging to
me and all the engineers, as what we do on a Sunday, our service to God, does
actually make an impact on peoples’ lives.

The essence of every ministry should be to minister the gospel, and that is our
goal and always will be the goal of the recording ministry.
