THE VISION OF CITY GATES’ CONNECT GROUPS:
Our vision is to see everyone at City Gates grow in their love for God, through a framework of relationship; understanding the finished work of the cross so we can freely receive, encourage, love and serve others. Our call is to every generation, our success is the next generation.
We believe that helping you to understanding your identity in Christ, is the key element to ensure you grow as a believer.
WHY JOIN A CONNECT GROUP?
CITY GATES CONNECT GROUPS are there to provide you with an opportunity to form relationships. We believe all else stems from this enabling you to know who you are in Christ and your place in His body. Almost everything we do is in the context of relationships from the moment we are born or born again. Our connect groups will provide you with a safe place to connect with others through a common purpose, a place where you can receive, encourage, love and serve the body of Christ.
FEBRUARY: MONTH OF PRAYER & FASTING
QUOTES:
Omar Ganie:
“I joined home groups initially to meet and fellowship with believers in my local area, To form friendships and relationship with people of a like mind, being accountable to each other and learning from others in the group. It is great to be a part of a group who prays together, to encourage and be encouraged, learning more about God’s word and be a witness to the local community.”
Tammy Lungu:
“What I enjoy most about being a part of my Small Group is the fellowship, friendship and the food we share each week. Our Group is not just a “Thursday evening thing” but our relationships continue throughout the week. We baby sit for one another, visit sick members in hospital and check on each other throughout the week. Above all, it has been a place of growth for me.”
Sheahan Thorne:
I have been attending my Small Group for over three years. It has been inspiring to learn and discuss God’s word in depth with other people and to provide a mid-week supplement of fellowship. Being in this group has enabled me to meet and build relationships with people within the church, some of which I may not have met had I not been joined a group. It is a place where I can share every day situations and concerns – my cell group truly provides a multitude of counsellors and prayer support!”
