The Greeters
The very first people you will meet will be our team of friendly greeters who will welcome you into the service. They are also on hand to direct you if you need help in knowing where to go.
Information Desk
Our information Desk is manned by a great team of ladies who are able to answer any questions you have. Whether your question is regarding where your children should go, or what is available during the week, as well as any questions you may have about any of our events, please do not hesitate to speak to the team.
Stewards
The stewards are on hand to direct you to a seat. They will also be able to show you where the bathroom facilities are should you require them. You should also speak with one of the stewards should you face any issue or need assistance during the service.
On the first Sunday of the month we hold our communion service. The stewards will be on hand to serve you the bread and wine. This is for those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. They will also take up the offering when led by the Pastors, but please do not feel you have to put “money into the bag” as it passes you – we don’t charge you for being with us.
Befrienders
If you require someone to meet up with someone during the week, we have people who are usually near the Information Desk to befriend you. Our Befrienders would be happy to meet you before our other meetings to save you walking into the Church alone, or they can introduce you to others within City Gates who you can meet with.
Prayer Ministry
The Pastor may make an altar call after his sermon, to which you may feel you would like to respond. If you do not feel the call is relevant for you, but would like to receive prayer for something else, the Prayer Ministry Team is available to speak with you and pray with you at the end of the service.
