We value: Spirit-Filled Growth
We believe that being fully devoted to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer. This is expressed through servant hood and a lifestyle of worship. Christ followers should manifest authenticity and yearn for continuous growth. Every believer should be judged by the evidence of the fruit (Galatians 5:22-23) of the Holy Spirit in their lives, not by their gifts.

We value: Intimacy with God
We believe regular prayer and faithful intercession allow us to enter into a partnership with Christ. This is the foundation of personal and corporate ministry. Intimacy with God will strengthen our unity and inspire us to love and serve one another.

We value: Relationships
We believe loving relationships should permeate every aspect of our Christian life. We also believe unity must be pursued and diversity honoured. The quality of our life together must be seen by those not yet in the church. Small groups are the main way our relationships are expressed through discipleship, accountability and vulnerability.

We value: Teaching
We believe Holy Spirit-inspired teaching is the catalyst for transforming individuals and the corporate life of the church. The bible is our source of guidance: calling us to a fulfilled, successful and obedient lifestyle. Our goal is to communicate biblical truth in a relevant way through all media, literature and technology.

We value: Stewardship
We believe God wants us to be wise stewards of our time, gifts, and finance. They are all from God and we are required to wisely and obediently use them. This will lead to faithful and sacrificial service.

We value: Excellence
We believe a high standard of excellence honours God and inspires people both within the Church and those not yet in the Kingdom of God. This will be achieved when we exercise our God-given gifts to the best of our ability.

We value: Leadership
We believe the church should be lead by those with a leadership gift. Such leaders can empower others to use their God-given gifts and talents, strengthening the body of Christ to reach East London and beyond.
